In the third quarter of 2024, the top photo and video applications on iOS in Spain displayed varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream consistently led in weekly active users, maintaining a robust presence with figures around 9.6M. Revenue fluctuated slightly, peaking at approximately $183K in the last week of September, while downloads remained stable, averaging around 26K to 29K per week.

CapCut - Video Editor experienced notable revenue growth, starting from about $43K in early July and reaching up to $99K by early September. Weekly downloads showed a surge in mid-August, peaking at about 49K, though active users saw a minor decline, ending the quarter at roughly 186K.

Google Photos: Backup & Edit maintained a steady performance in weekly downloads, averaging around 17K. Revenue saw a slight increase, ending the quarter at approximately $70K. Active users remained consistent, hovering around 510K to 530K throughout the quarter.

Instagram showed a dynamic revenue trend with figures ranging from $38K to $71K, while downloads stayed stable, fluctuating between 25K and 32K. The app retained a strong user base, with weekly active users consistently around 4.25M.

FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor demonstrated stable revenue, ending at about $49K in late September. Downloads were relatively modest, peaking at 6.6K in early September. Active users showed some fluctuation, with a peak in late August at about 101K but ending the quarter around 85K.
